Terms: Full Time / Flexible working (Maternity cover, rolling contract starting June 2022)
Location: Fully Remote (time zones UTC-1 to UTC+3)
The Role
We’re about to embark on a new chapter at Kyero as we look to deliver on our brand promise of helping international buyers find their sunshine with confidence. To do this we need a top-notch content guru to help our audience navigate their journey to buying a home overseas. You’ll need to be comfortable with running and managing social channels, creating and curating content in different formats, bringing our story to life and engaging with new and existing audiences. What’s more, you won’t just be talking to a UK audience but to French, German, Scandinavian and a few others further afield. You’ll be key to building our online journeys and creating a distinctive Kyero approach, leveraging our in-house expertise to really put buyers at ease and help them buy with confidence.

Kyero’s Story
Kyero helps people from all over the world to find their sunshine. We make it easier for international property buyers to achieve their dreams.
Many of us have moved countries so we know the joy of finding the place you want to call home. We also know the highs and lows involved in making that happen. Our founders, Louise and Martin, started Kyero based on the lessons they learned when they bought land in their favourite part of Spain. They harnessed what they learnt to create a company dedicated to helping people move from dreaming about sunshine to living in it.
The Business
We are an international team of 30 fully remote people located across 7 countries, combining Marketing, Sales, Customer Services, Design, Development, Data, Finance and Admin. All of whom are truly passionate about the vision and purpose of the business.
The team brings exceptional knowledge of the market and a complete focus on the buyer. With a culture of trust and inclusion, we are firm believers in the power of data, the principles of test and learn and the importance of promises and proof points.
Our response to the Covid crisis was to protect our team and control costs whilst rapidly evolving our proposition to test new commercial models, evolve the buyer experience and explore new ways of working. Moving into 2022 we feel stronger than ever. Within the last 18 months we have launched new branding, introduced a Freemium commercial model, established a marketing team, brought on a new CTO and established new partnerships for Data, SEO and CX, all whilst establishing ourselves in three new international markets.
And we are committed to making this a business for good. In 2018 we became a business with negative carbon emissions. And given our commitment to help people find a place they can call home, we allocate a % of our annual revenue to Spanish homeless charity Hogar Si Foundation RAIS. We are also actively exploring how we can make the move to become Employee Owned & B-Corp in the years ahead.
And we’re only just getting started… with a clear vision, strong leadership and expertise across the team, we’re more ambitious than ever and have the perfect recipe for continued growth!

What You Will Bring…
Your Experience
You will be creative and always on the lookout for new ideas and opportunities
You will be able to ideate, research and comfortably write targeted content across multiple channels
Previous experience in copywriting, marketing message writing and the ability to write compelling marketing copy
Previous experience producing marketing materials in various formats including written and video formats is essential as is previous experience translating data into a reader friendly format
Ideally experience in managing a remote multi-lingual team of content creators
Strong attention to detail and impeccable grammar
Experience and solid understanding of SEO
Experience of Podcast production would be desirable
Experience of writing content in both a B2B and B2C context
CMS experience including the uploading of articles, formatting and ensuring they are SEO optimised
Your Main Responsibilities
Develop and own the content calendar
Develop a message house using insight and data to produce appropriate messages for each audience.
Produce and promote content for marketing communications across email, social and the website; working with the Performance Marketing Manager to understand campaign objectives and performance results
Generate new content ideas related to our industry and customer needs whilst aligning with SEO targets
Become the expert on our customers, their pain points and the markets in which we operate
Write creative, compelling and clear digital content and adapt these for use across a range of digital channels
Work with external copywriters to brief, sub-edit and optimise content for the region it is tailored to
Build and manage relationships with a team of experts that you will leverage for content
Outreach and build relationships with prospective publishing sites and bloggers to secure online coverage from
Produce and promote content for all stages of the funnel from the top (Awareness) to the bottom of the funnel (Conversion) and ongoing referral (customer success).
Ensure copy is consistent with our brand and written style guide.
Analyse metrics to understand the success of content pieces and use the outcome to inform discussion about future content strategy
Respond to briefs for media opportunities including researching and providing strong data points to all parties involved where appropriate
Working with PR team and other Kyero team members to provide compelling content to position Kyero as market experts
Measurement of content, providing reports for regular leadership meetings
